Ministry at St. Peter’s Vocational Secondary School, Bwizibwera
Some of our team members — Robert Enzama, Collin Blessing, and Bonita — had the privilege of conducting a retreat at St. Peter’s Vocational Secondary School, Bwizibwera, in Ntungamo District.
During the retreat, we prayed for the candidates and encouraged the students to love the Lord wholeheartedly and to work diligently, reminding them that God has entrusted humanity with dominion over the earth. We emphasized that it is our responsibility to reflect the character of Christ in the world, allowing Him to reign through our lives.
We inspired the students to recognize that God intends to use them as instruments of innovation, to engage in scientific research and discoveries that serve humanity, and to contribute meaningfully to society.
To strengthen their faith, we drew on the promise Christ made to Peter, reminding them that they too are:
“Peters upon whom Christ would build His Church, build nations, build economies, and build lives.” — Robert Enzama
Through this retreat, the students were encouraged to see their potential in God’s plan and to embrace their calling with confidence, faith, and a spirit of service.
